Back in March 2024, I realized that my mental and physical health were holding me back. I felt sluggish, overwhelmed, and unhappy, so I decided to make a change. I began prioritizing my mental health through therapy and mindfulness, which helped me gain clarity and motivation to focus on my physical health.
After a lot of back and forth, I took the dive and started going to the Exos facility. I committed to going to the gym at least three times a week. At first, it was tough and I was nervous about losing my motivation. However, after meeting with Coach Katy and starting to train with her, I found activities that I enjoyed, like weightlifting and group classes.
With Coach Katy's support, I also educated myself on nutrition and made small changes to my diet. Each small victory motivated me, and I learned to celebrate every milestone, understanding that my journey was about more than just losing weight.
Today, I am proud to say I've lost 50 pounds! My energy levels have skyrocketed, and I feel stronger and more resilient.
This transformation has not only changed my body but also my mindset. I now approach challenges with a positive attitude, embracing a healthier, happier lifestyle and a lifelong commitment to self-care. If I can do this, anyone can. It all starts with a decision to prioritize yourself and take it one day at a time.

Although I’ve been an Exos member for several years, I’ve only started coming in more regularly since Q4 2023. By doing regular workouts (twice a week at this point, apart from yoga), I’ve seen remarkable improvement in the level of physical fitness — primarily strength and endurance.
Regular workouts have also helped me with my long-term back issues, and I can now sit for longer without the same level of discomfort. This helps my mental health too by reducing stress, clearing my mind, and improving my mood.
With professional guidance through our very approachable Exos staff, I’ve found the fitness journey is well supported via proper exercise techniques, personalized workout plans, and care to prevent injuries.
This actually makes me feel more confident and comfortable in coming to the Exos facility compared to a more public gym! The group classes are also a great way to get time-bound workouts done. They start and end on time, so I can be back at my desk at a predictable time.

Since the time I started my Exos journey in February this year, I can see a remarkable difference in my stamina and energy levels. One of the most visible impacts I have noticed is the reduction in recovery time after a strenuous hike.
